Our company thrives on the principle of sustainable forestry. We understand the undeniable role trees play in maintaining our planet’s ecological balance and, through our efforts, we strive to restore degraded lands. Particularly, we’ve targeted the semi-arid regions of East Africa, where decades of deforestation have severely impacted local ecosystems. By planting trees in these areas, we’re bringing life back to the soil, and more importantly, to the communities that depend on it.

However, our mission does not stop at reforestation. We recognize the value of local communities and aim to provide employment and financial opportunities for them. Our operations directly contribute to the local economy and support sustainable agriculture, promoting long-term sustainability that goes beyond the lifespan of our projects.

Moreover, in the face of rising global temperatures, Trees4CO2 AS also offers impactful carbon offsetting solutions. By absorbing CO2, trees play a significant role in the fight against climate change, making our operations an effective way of decreasing carbon emissions. Erik Harstad, one of our partners, uses his years of experience in the Car and Real Estate industries to navigate the challenges of global environmental issues. He helps to drive our mission with a strong focus on value creation.

Robin Kamark, another partner, brings his extensive international business experience and academic prowess. His skill in strategy planning, financial restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions provides us with robust business leadership.

Petter Åsheim, our advisor, uses his 35 years of expertise in the multinational finance industry to balance sustainability with profitability. His leadership is now dedicated to addressing the urgent issue of climate change.
